Great Things in Brown Deer!
The Board of Education, administrators, and staff are continuing their work to improve student achievement, to provide all students with the skills necessary to succeed in the 21st century, and to prepare them for a wide variety of promising opportunities after high school. Parent and community involvement is a key component to ensure that every student will graduate with the skills necessary to adapt, thrive, and excel.
We invite you to view this video presentation, highlighting the wonderful opportunities, experiences, and many valued partnerships throughout the community. It truly does take a Village to sustain a strong school district, committed to providing the best possible education for all students.
Brown Deer Students Make Headlines!
Students and staff at Dean Elementary School recently held a luncheon and assembly celebrating the country of Laos. In December, Germany will be highlighted. These activities are part of this year's Celebrate Around the World project. Parents are invited to attend monthly assemblies and join their children for lunch. All are encouraged to wear their traditional ethnic dress to honor their cultural heritage. Celebrations will continue through the end of the school year.
