Thank you to all of the parents who attended the Social Media Awareness Night, February 17th. Just in case you missed it, information is available under the Parent Resources section of our website under Internet Safety & Social Media.
The Open Enrollment program will be accepting applications from February 2nd through April 30th. This program is for students that wish to attend a school district other than the one that serves where they currently reside. It is recommended that parents apply online through the link below. The Brown Deer Board of Education recently approved four new seats for the 2015-16 school year. If you are currently enrolled in the program, to attend the School District of Brown Deer, you do not need to reapply each year. If you are currently attending the school district on a tuition waiver, because you have moved out of the district, you will need to apply for open enrollment in order to possibly continue attending the school district. Not all applications will be accepted and you will be notified of your approval/denial.

Peachjar Electronic Flyers for Parents - February 16th
The School District of Brown Deer will be implementing a new electronic flyer distribution system on February 16th. Parents will be receiving an email from Peachjar with login and password information. This will allow parents to set the frequency of their notifications. By making this change, the School District will be able to save paper, trees, time and money. Hopefully, now you will have all of the information you previously received in paper flyers, or possibly not at all, available in the convenient click of a button. Just look for the orange Peachjar logo.
