Applications for employment can be made on WECAN at http://services.education.wisc.edu/wecan/

In order to access these applications, the viewer's computer must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. If you do not have the program, it may be downloaded for free from Adobe's download site.
Employment applications for the School District of Brown Deer are fill-in forms.
  • In the Application Checklist section of this web page, select and complete the appropriate forms on screen. After entering the data, print the forms.
  • As needed, complete the handwritten section.
  • Sign the forms.

Applicant Checklist

The School District of Brown Deer requests your assistance to help us ensure your application receives the attention it deserves. Your application must be complete, which includes the submission of all required information, before the District will extend an offer of employment. Generally, a complete application, including all reference letters, credentials and other documents, needs to be on file prior to consideration for an interview. However, do not delay your Application for Employment if some of the required documentation is missing. Let us know in your letter of interest when you expect to send missing documents.
The Application for Employment contains 5 standard pages and one or more supplemental pages, depending on the classification for which you are applying. The application for coaching, community education staff, and student employees requires fewer pages.
As an applicant, it is your responsibility to ensure the District receives all information. The components of a complete application for each employment classification are listed below. If you are applying for more than one position it is not necessary to duplicate information for each position. However, be sure to include the appropriate Supplement page(s). Official transcripts will be required if offered a position.
 

Teacher and Administrator, including substitute teachers

Instructional Assistant (Aides), including Instructional Assistant substitutes
Food Service Worker, including food service substitutes
Custodial/Maintenance, including custodial/maintenance substitutes
Coach/Activity Advisor
Student
Community Education Staff, including substitutes
This classification includes teachers and other support staff hired on a temporary and casual basis to conduct classes offered by the District's Community Services Department.
General Support Staff, including general support staff substitutes
This classification includes secretaries, administrative assistants, computer technicians, nurses, health room assistants, business office staff, and any other position not specified above.
